I found this one worked for me: If you are able to collect their wedding anniversaries and congratulate the husband the day before they will remember you for ever and a day.

In reply to Vatsala Shukla. You are absolutely right Vatsala. Congratulating someone with their birthday is a small act but it can make a world of difference in someone's life. It is usually these small gestures that has the most meaning when building relationships, because as you say, it shows "i'm thinking about you!". ;)

My all time favorite, even when I worked in the corporate world was to remember to greet colleagues on their birthday. I do it even now – it makes such a difference and that is the one time when it does not feel salesy but that you do care.
